Tonne vs Cubic Metre — Why We Sell by Weight
Cubic metre (m³) is an estimate of stacked volume and varies wildly with how tightly wood is stacked. Tonne (weight) is accurate — our trucks have loader scales, so you get exactly what you paid for. Roughly: 1 tonne ≈ 2m³ stacked (approx. 0.7m³ per loader scoop). But we charge by tonne, not approximation.
